After years of demolishing the ligaments + tendons in my ankles, as well as having my heel in the "wrong" place, I underwent surgery to fix this. I got a lateralizing calcaneal osteotomy and they repaired my ligaments and tendons including the peroneous longus, brevus and a brostrom repair. I documented my journey before surgery and for a full year afterwards, during my recovery. I am now happy and healthy! Hooray!

I'm glad to hear you're doing good and I'm really glad you got the surgery, as scary as it was. You take care of yourself you hear. Your too good of a person to be in that much pain. I love you!

juan got me the shrek baby for valentines day last year. it was cute, i loved those shrek babies, and couldn't stop talking about how cute they were after we saw shrek 3, so when i came home from work on vday, there were several hidden all around the condo! so cute.
